Overview
Yala National Park is Sri Lanka’s best-known safari destination, combining scrub jungle, open glades, rocky outcrops, and seasonal waterholes in one of the island’s richest wildlife habitats.
Guests can choose a 5-hour Morning Safari, a 5-hour Evening Safari, or a 10-hour Full-Day Safari depending on the time available and the style of wildlife viewing they prefer.
Your safari is arranged with a dedicated jeep and experienced driver-guide, while national park entrance tickets are purchased separately by the guests.
Yala is especially known for leopard sightings, but elephants, crocodiles, deer, wild boar, jackals, peafowl, and a wide variety of birdlife also make every drive rewarding.
